ObjectivesThe specification of some theoretical models for databases: relational, network, hierarchical. The implementation of these models and the realisation of aplications using Visual FoxPro.
General thematicsDescription of some theoretical models for databases: relational, network, hierarchical. Data structures in systems of gestion for databases. Indexes: creations, states, updates, commands with respect to indexes. Relations between tables, their implementation in some SGBDs. Restrictions of type functional dependencies, systemes of formal rules for functional dependencies, study of functional dependencies using propositional calculus. Restrictions of type multivalued, systemes of formal rules for the class of functional and multivalued dependencies.
Seminary / Laboratory thematicsAnalysis of commands in Visual FoxPro. Choice a subject for a project. Analysis of the problem specificated in the project. Specification of realization stages for project theme. Realisation of the project on computer. Test of the project using a set of dates. Evaluation of the project.
Teaching methodsThe courses: orally, laboratory: individual work.
